Doxa Church Invites Redmond Community to Celebrate Easter with Good Friday and Resurrection Services

REDMOND, WA — Doxa Church invites the Redmond community to celebrate Holy Week with reflective Good Friday gatherings and joyful Easter services examining the historical evidence and implications of Jesus’ resurrection.
Good Friday services will be held on April 3 at 5:15 PM and 7:15 PM. These intimate, reflective gatherings will focus on the death of Christ and provide an opportunity for contemplation as the church community considers the significance of the cross.
“Easter is the proclamation of a literal, historical event that changed everything. Our last enemy, Death, as formidable and sure as it is, could not hold Jesus,” said Pastor Eddie Williams, Lead Pastor. “This Easter, we examine the evidence, confront the implications, and consider what it means if Jesus truly rose from the grave and now reigns as both Lord and Christ.”
Easter Sunday celebrations will take place on April 5 at 9:00 AM, 10:45 AM, and 12:30 PM at the church’s location near Whole Foods in Redmond. The services will tell the story of the good news of Jesus’ resurrection, rooted in eyewitness testimony, fulfilled Scripture, and public proclamation.
Easter gatherings will feature family-friendly photo booth opportunities, gospel-centered programming for children at all three services, music, and baptisms. The church emphasizes that Easter is a significant celebration, and many new faces are expected. Community members are welcome to attend either or both Good Friday and Easter services.
